Sports Physical Therapist Jobs in West Palm Beach

You Didn't Train This Hard to Practice Like This

You remember why you got into this.

Maybe it was a coach, an injury, a moment watching someone move again after they weren’t sure they ever would. You chose this profession because movement matters, because figuring out why someone is broken down and building them back up is genuinely meaningful work.

Then you took a job. And somewhere between the double-booked schedule, the 45-minute evals that turned into 20, the aides taking your patients mid-session, and the prior auth that held up a treatment plan for two weeks, that feeling started to fade.

You’re still good at this. You still care. But you’re not practicing anywhere near the level you trained for. And that gap between what you know you’re capable of and what the system actually lets you do? That’s exhausting in a way that’s hard to explain to people outside the profession.

That’s the problem Athlete Restoration Co. was built to solve, first for patients, and now for the clinicians who treat them.

We’re a premium, cash-based sports and orthopedic PT practice in West Palm Beach. One clinician, one patient, one hour. No insurance dictating your plan of care. No aides. No volume targets. Just the time, tools, and clinical autonomy to actually do this job right, and a team that will push you to do it better every single week.

If that sounds like what you’ve been looking for, you’re in the right place.

About Athlete Restoration Co.

We’re not a high-volume insurance clinic. We don’t have aides managing your caseload. We don’t hand out generic exercise sheets and call it treatment.

Athlete Restoration Co. is a direct-pay, out-of-network sports physical therapy practice built around one-on-one care, root cause thinking, and long-term performance restoration. Our fellowship-trained Doctors of Physical Therapy deliver individualized treatment to patients who’ve often already tried traditional PT, chiro, and injections. They come to us because they want answers, not just management.

Our patient base includes:

  • Competitive and recreational athletes (runners, golfers, CrossFitters, tennis players)
  • Active adults who identify strongly with movement and performance
  • Post-surgical patients returning to sport and full function
  • High-performing professionals who treat their health like an investment

This is a clinic for patients who expect more. And that includes the team behind it.

What You'll Actually Be Doing Here

Forget double-booking. Forget delegating. Every session at ARC is one clinician, one patient, one uninterrupted hour.

Your role here goes well beyond pain reduction. You’ll be measuring, testing, analyzing, and building capacity, then communicating it clearly to patients who are engaged, motivated, and ready to do the work.

Your clinical toolkit includes:

You won’t be told what to do by an insurance company. You won’t be rushing through evaluations to hit volume targets. You’ll have the time, tools, and autonomy to actually solve the problem, not just treat the symptom.

Who You'll Learn From and Why It Matters

Why we built this

We built ARC because we’d worked inside the traditional model long enough to know it wasn’t working, not for patients, and not for clinicians who actually cared about getting it right.

Between the two of us, (Dr. Kyle Volstad and Dr. Nichole Volstad), we’ve played collegiate sports, lived through our own injuries, completed post-professional residency and fellowship training, and spent years studying movement, manual therapy, and orthopedic care at a deep level. That path wasn’t about collecting credentials. It was about genuinely understanding how the body works and refusing to practice at a level that fell short of that.

When we opened ARC, we made a deliberate choice: one-on-one care, cash-based model, root cause thinking, and a patient population that’s motivated to do the work. No shortcuts. No assembly line. Just the kind of practice we actually wanted to work in.

That same philosophy applies to the team we’re building.

What mentorship actually looks like here

We’re invested in the clinicians who work here, not just in what they produce, but in how they grow. That means you’ll have:

  • Regular 1-on-1 mentorship built into the rhythm of your week, real clinical conversation, not a quarterly check-in
  • Case collaboration where complex presentations get worked through together, out loud, with direct feedback
  • Exposure to cases most outpatient clinics never see, high-level return-to-sport, performance-driven rehab, and patients who’ve already exhausted every other option
  • Development in movement analysis, load management, and clinical reasoning that will sharpen how you think, not just what you do
  • Honest feedback on your growth, the kind that’s specific, actionable, and actually moves the needle

Dr. Matt Morton and Dr. Gianna Morton, both DPTs with competitive athletic backgrounds and a strong commitment to continuing education, also contribute actively to this environment. The expectation here is simple: we invest in you, and you invest in getting better.

We didn’t build this place to be average. And we’re not looking for clinicians who are okay with that either.

A Culture Built on Growth

We’ll be direct with you: ARC is not for everyone.

If you’re looking for a place where you can coast, see 18 patients a day, and clock out without thinking about clinical outcomes, this isn’t your practice. We’re not judging that, it’s just not what we’re building here.

What we are building is a team of clinicians who:

  • Hold themselves to a high clinical standard
  • Welcome feedback and use it to improve
  • Take ownership of their outcomes
  • Are genuinely curious about movement, performance, and the science behind both
  • Want to contribute to something bigger than a caseload

That means accountability. It means continuing education is not optional, it’s expected. It means we have direct conversations when something isn’t working, and we solve it together.

The clinicians who thrive here are the ones who treat their career the same way our patients treat their performance: with intention, consistency, and a refusal to settle.

Open Positions at Athlete Restoration Co.

Pain often shows up at the point of overload, not the point of origin. A knee issue may begin at the hip. Shoulder pain may relate to how the spine moves. Chronic tension may reflect how your body manages load, posture, breathing, and recovery.

When you understand why pain is happening, change becomes possible. When you only chase where it hurts, symptoms tend to return.

What Your Career Path Can Look Like

We’re not just offering a job, we’re offering a trajectory

Clinicians who join ARC have the opportunity to grow into specialized, high-level roles over time. That looks different for everyone, but it can include:

  • Deepening expertise in running rehab, ACL return-to-sport, performance testing, or manual therapy
  • Taking ownership of specific patient populations (golfers, youth athletes, female athletes, endurance athletes)
  • Contributing to mentorship and clinical education as the team grows
  • Leadership opportunities as the practice continues to expand

We’re building something here. Clinicians who invest in that growth, and grow because of it, are the ones we want on this team long-term.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you hire new graduate physical therapists?

Yes. We’ve had success developing new graduates who come in with the right mindset, curious, coachable, and genuinely motivated to grow. The mentorship structure at ARC is specifically built to accelerate clinical development, which makes it a strong environment for new grads who want to get better fast.

What does mentorship look like at Athlete Restoration?

It’s built into the daily rhythm of the practice. You’ll have regular case reviews, direct access to fellowship-trained clinicians, and ongoing feedback that’s specific, honest, and actionable. This isn’t a once-a-quarter check-in, it’s an integrated part of how we operate.

What makes this different from a traditional PT clinic?

Almost everything. Cash-based model. 1-on-1 care. No insurance controlling your clinical decisions. A patient base that’s engaged and motivated. Advanced tools. A team that takes clinical excellence seriously. If you’ve worked in a high-volume insurance clinic, you’ll notice the difference immediately.

What type of patients will I work with?

Primarily active adults and athletes, runners, golfers, CrossFitters, tennis players, post-surgical athletes returning to sport, and high-performing professionals. These are people who genuinely care about their health and are invested in the process.

What tools and technology are used?

Running gait analysis, force plate and jump testing, return-to-sport assessment systems, biomechanics analysis tools, advanced manual therapy, dry needling, and integrated performance programming. You’ll have what you need to assess and treat at a high level.

How is performance training integrated into rehab?

From the first evaluation. We don’t treat pain in isolation, we treat the movement system. That means load management, strength integration, and performance capacity are part of the conversation from day one, not something we add at the end of a protocol.

What type of clinician succeeds here?

Clinicians who are self-motivated, coachable, intellectually curious, and genuinely invested in outcomes. People who want to be challenged. People who care as much about their own growth as they do about their patients’ progress. If that’s you, we’d love to talk.

Ready to Build Your Career?

You didn’t train this hard to practice at a fraction of your ability.

The right practice makes all the difference, the right patients, the right mentors, the right tools, and a team that holds a high standard because they actually care about the work.

That’s what we’re building at Athlete Restoration Co. And we’re looking for clinicians who want to be a part of it.
